Give a Voice to 60 Orphaned Girls in Morelia, Mexico
In Morelia, in Michoacan state, Mexico, hundreds of children placed in orphanages suffer trauma and emotional distress from domestic violence.
Michoacan's orphanages lack the means to help them process their experiences. Our project will support 60 girls from 2 orphanages, offering therapeutic artistic activities through Photovoice workshops.
These girls will develop resilience, rebuild confidence, master self-care skills, heal emotional wounds, and envision futures beyond their pasts.
